Sorry about the lack of updates lately.

Nothing much to say these days, truthfully. Uhh...

I was able to screw up Linux and Windows single handedly the other day? lol.

I screwed up the partiton tables, and then GRUB wouldn't load. But then Cat and I fixed it, and then yay! But I had to reinstall Ubuntu. What. A. Pain.

So yeah. Oh, and I found a Linux User Group that is near me. NWCLUG. (NorthWest Chicago Linux User Group). They meet over at Harper College. I'm debating on whether or not to go, because Cat went to her LUG's Install Fest, and it's sounds like she had a lot of fun.

So yeah, that's basically it.

I am so excited. Ubuntu Breezy is up and running, without a hitch (other than we [as in Cat and I] can't seem to get Xgl working, because X crashes).

And I have GNOME! :D

Oh, and the countdown is the countdown until Alias begins again. :)

Aight, I now have a photo gallery, over at staci.nerdiphythesoul.com, which is my other blog.

It's not up-to-date yet, but there's still plenty of pictures there to keep the average person entertained.

First of all, I got a new graphics card. an nVidia one! :D a GeForce FX 5500 256 MB DDR PCI one. Cool cool. This allows X to work and load in Linux, because Linux apparently didn't like my ATi one. :(

I installed SuSE (all by myself!! :D) and didn't fuck up Windows. :)

But then SuSE decided to take a crap on me and not give me sound or the burning capabilities of my CD burner. And probably various other problems.

But with Cat's help, I got the internet working on it. And got it to browse my stuff on Windows.

But then we downloaded the Kororaa live CD, and we checked that out.

I have never used Xgl before. Oh MAN that shit is... the shit!! It totally rocked.

Then, today, Mark gave me an Ubuntu live CD, and an Ubuntu install CD. Haven't tried either of those out yet.

But, I installed Kororaa without any difficulties, and again didn't fuck up Windows. :D

But once I got into Kororaa, I did not know how to do pretty much anything. But I DID, however, play a super fun game. I think it was called "Same GNOME" or something. I like games like that. lol.

So yeah, now here I sit, eating leftover-mexican-pizza-in-a-bag-that-was-lightly-chilled-so-that-it-didn't-spoil. Good stuff! :D

In case you don't know, Pocky is a chocolate coated biscuit stick thing. It is awesome. I bought some from the Japanese store Mitsuwa.
